About

Welcome to my portfolio! I’m a learning experience designer and developer based in Kirkland, Washington. I have an inextinguishable fire for learning, creativity, and technology and believe there’s always a way forward no matter how great the challenge.
I’ve been designing and developing online learning experiences since 2011 and teaching music since 2002. My design process is data-driven, guided by user research, stakeholder interviews, business needs, and collaborative problem solving.
I value integrity, compassion, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to constant evolution. In my free time, I enjoy reading, learning new technologies, and mountain biking.
If you’re looking for a talented and reliable learning experience designer and developer with a proven track record of delivering results, consider reaching out to me. I’m excited to contribute my skills and experience to your team and make a positive impact on your organization.

My Bookshelf
I love books! If I had to choose just seven books to take with me to a desert island, these are my top picks:
- The Design of Everyday Things, Don Norman
- Emotional Intelligence, Daniel Goleman
- E-Learning and the Science of Instruction, Richard E. Mayer and Ruth C. Clark
- Design for How People Learn, Julie Dirksen
- Map It: The Hands-on Guide to Strategic Training Design, Cathy Moore
- Kirkpatrick’s Four Levels of Training Evaluation, James D. Kirkpatrick and Wendy Kayser Kirkpatrick
- …and the seventh, because I’m reading it now: Flawless Consulting, Peter Block
I’d leave these three books waiting at home on the kitchen table:
- Zen Mind Beginner’s Mind, Suzuki Roshi
- Zinn & the Art of Mountain Bike Maintenance, Lennard Zinn
- The Little Book of Common Sense Investing, John C. Bogle
Thank You!
