About

Thank you for visiting my portfolio! I’m Niels, an instructional designer and e-learning developer based in San Francisco. I have an inextinguishable fire for learning, creativity, and technology. I’m highly self-motivated, solution-oriented, and I believe there’s always a way forward no matter how great the challenge.
I’ve been designing and developing online learning experiences since 2011 and teaching music since 2002. Business results, data, and learner empathy guide my design process.
I value integrity, compassion, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to constant evolution. In my free time, I enjoy reading, learning new technologies, and staying healthy through outdoor adventures.
